London, March 20, 2020 (AltAfrica)-Egyptian authorities have arrested a doctor at a Cairo hospital for inciting medical staff to abstain from treating suspected coronavirus cases

The junior physician was alleged to have created a Facebook page to “incite doctors and medical staff to refrain from joining teams checking cases infected with the coronavirus,” a leading Egyptian online portal, Ahram reports

Egypt has 210 confirmed coronavirus cases, including 53 foreigners.
The country has so far registered six coronavirus-related deaths, three of whom are foreign nationals.
